[One of] The best places to buy coffee in the world
In lieu of plastic and other common petroleum-based materials, the Alpine Modern Café brand utilizes natural materials, namely aluminum and walnut (wood). The interior tile illustrations require no additional materials as they’re created using material already being used to cover the floor (hexagonal tiles). For printed ephemera, the brand continues the use of one of our favorite digital-ready papers, Neenah’s Classic Crest® Recycled 100 Bright White. The uncoated paper stock is relatively inexpensive, readily available, prints well, and has a desirable “toothy” texture.

Social Media Interaction
The various illustrations have been photographed and shared on social media countless times by café patrons. The large moose in the bathroom’s floor (internally referred to as the “deuce moose”) is the star of the show, at one point reposted on the immensely popular instagram account @ihavethisthingwithfloors.
